After being a successful hairdresser for many years I have always been passionate about
Hairdressing scissors. Well to take the Bull by the Horns I have actually thrown myself in at
the deep end and set up a Company http://www.serious-metal.com/ I was always frustrated
as a hairdresser trying to find a good pair of scissors usually schlepping down to Salon International to try and find a decent pair in all the hustle and bustle it didn't really make
for the best buying envoirement. Now anyway I have spent the last 12 months tracking
down all the suppliers designing the website and working with the web-site developers
I am almost happy with it.
Everything seems to take so long, Setting up the merchant account, waiting for stock to
be delivered, even setting up the Business account seemed to take an age. Anyway my
plan is to creat something really great a place where Hairdressers can buy their scissors
and get honest advise. over the coming months I am planning to go back to Hong Kong and Japan where I have met some of the guys who make these amazing Japanese scissors.
I will be back soon and keep you up to date with whats happening in my world of scissors.
